BiographyKamille Piacquadio, a Pennsylvania native, received her BS in Biology with a cellular, molecular, and genetics concentration from Coastal Carolina University in Conway, SC. She is currently a Master’s candidate and Graduate Teaching Assistant (GTA) in the Department of Animal Science with a focus in nutritional physiology. Her thesis work encompasses using dietary intervention to improve body composition in modern broiler chicks. She is currently the graduate student senator for the Department of Animal Science, and serves as the Professional Development Travel Awards Committee Chair. Kamille’s future research aspirations involve nutrition as a preventative measure for chronic disease.
